Effective date: October 1, 2026
Last updated: October 1, 2026
This policy is issued by RapDev LLC, 6 Liberty Sq PMB #445. Boston, MA 02109, which operates rapdev.io.
Questions or requests: email privacy@rapdev.io, use the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer of every page or the cookie badge in the corner of the screen.
Collection of your Personal Information
In order to better provide you with products and services offered, RapDev may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:
- First and Last Name
- Mailing Address
- E-mail Address
- Phone Number
- Employer
- Job Title
We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services. These may include: (a) registering for an account; (b) entering a sweepstakes or contest sponsored by one of our partners or us; (c) signing up for special offers from selected third parties; (d) sending us an email message. To wit, we will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future.
We also collect some information automatically when you visit, depending on your cookie choices: IP address and the approximate location derived from it, browser and device information, referring page, the pages you view and how you interact with them, and identifiers stored in cookies or similar technologies (see Use of Cookies). Job applications are collected through our applicant tracking system Ashby; website chat conversations are stored in HubSpot.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 and do not sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. We do not collect sensitive personal information, as defined in California law, through this site.
Use of your Personal Information
RapDev collects and uses your personal information to operate and deliver the services you have requested.
RapDev may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from RapDev and its affiliates.
For visitors in the EU, UK and other places that require a legal basis: we rely on consent for non-essential cookies and similar technologies (analytics, advertising, chat); on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site and in business-to-business marketing; on performance of a contract or pre-contract steps when you ask us for services or apply for a job; and on legal obligation where a law requires us to keep or disclose information. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Use of Cookies).
Sharing Information with Third Parties
RapDev does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists to third parties.
California law separately defines "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. When you allow "Targeting" cookies, the LinkedIn Insight Tag on our site sends LinkedIn information about your visit (pages viewed, IP address, browser data, and a LinkedIn cookie identifier) so LinkedIn can measure our ads and help us reach people with similar interests on LinkedIn. That is "sharing" under California law. You can opt out at any time; see Your Rights and Choices. We do not receive money for this.
RapDev may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to RapDev, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
Categories of personal information disclosed in the past 12 months: identifiers (name, email address, IP address, cookie identifiers); professional information (company, job title); internet activity (pages viewed, interactions); approximate geolocation derived from IP address; inferences drawn from the above for advertising measurement. Recipients: our service providers (CRM, forms and chat, analytics, performance monitoring, hosting, consent management, applicant tracking) and, for sharing, LinkedIn.
RapDev may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on RapDev or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of RapDev; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of RapDev, or the public.
Tracking User Behavior
RapDev may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within RapDev, in order to determine what RapDev content is the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within RapDev to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.
Automatically Collected Information
Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by RapDev. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the RapDev website.
To enhance collaboration and ensure accurate documentation of discussions, we may use third-party note-taking tools during meetings. We only use these tools to improve the quality of our service delivery and follow-up, and never for marketing or unrelated purposes. All meeting data processed through these services is handled in compliance with our security and confidentiality obligations. We also review our vendors to ensure they maintain robust data protection and privacy practices.
Use of Cookies
The RapDev website may use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize RapDev pages or register with the RapDev site or services, a cookie helps RapDev to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies recording your personal information, such as billing and shipping addresses. When you return to the same RapDev website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the RapDev features that you customized.
Our cookies and similar technologies fall into four groups, and our consent banner lets you allow or decline each group except the first: Strictly necessary (the site working and staying secure, including our record of your choice and the spam-protection token on our forms); Performance (Google Analytics, HubSpot analytics and Datadog performance monitoring; session recording is off); Targeting (the LinkedIn Insight Tag, YouTube's cookies on pages with embedded videos, and a Google Ads attribution cookie); and Functionality (remembering you in our website chat).
To change your choices at any time, use the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer of every page or the cookie badge in the corner of the screen. Your choice is kept for 12 months. Declining a group stops the related tools from loading and removes the first-party cookies they set; cookies set on other companies' domains (for example, linkedin.com or youtube.com) are controlled through those companies and your browser settings. In California, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and other places where the law requires it, nothing in the Performance, Targeting or Functionality groups runs until you choose.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing and as declining all non-essential cookies, on every page, without showing a banner. If you later accept cookies through the footer link, that choice overrides the signal for this site until you change it again.
